MOROCCO 2023 Unofficial Day 1 My first afternoon in Morocco where they don’t celebrate Thanksgiving but apparently do celebrate Black Friday! If you like lively nightlife and fabulous shopping they say to go to Casablanca. If you like more historical and cultural experiences they say to go to Rabat. I am pleased to say I’m in Rabat! We stayed in a Riad which is a house converted into a small hotel. It is in the Medina which is the old Arabic part of Rabat. Our host Kerem poured mint tea for us all.
